III. U.S. TRANS KEY PERSONNEL

 

Gloria D.  McGHEE, PRESIDENT

The President and Chief Executive Officer is Ms. Gloria D. McGhee.  She brings a wealth of expertise and experience to the corporate structure of U.S. TRANS.  In addition to supervising personnel, Ms. McGhee's varied background provides expertise in the areas of planning, training, technical writing, focus group coordinator and program evaluator.  Ms. McGhee has an Accounting and Business Degree form The University of Maryland. Ms. McGhee is responsible for the day-to-day activities which include the identification of needed resources, establishment and implementation of budget and cost systems, and the development of timeliness and monitoring of work assignments to ensure the timely completion of specific contract tasks.  Ms. McGhee has worked with and coordinated all levels of professionals in the field of personnel management.  Ms. McGhee has conducted special studies and performed research for the preparation of issue papers, ad hoc reports, and policy statements on a variety of personnel and financial topics and issues.

 

James Harrington, DIRECTOR OF PROGRAM MANAGEMENT

Mr. James Harrington is the Director of Program Management and Operations for U.S. TRANS.  Mr. Harrington's duties entail establishment of operational systems for all contractual operations with private corporations and governmental organizations.  He has the responsibility for monitoring the various activities, supervising the implementation of quality assurance and contractual activities.  He serves as the coordinator between operations, personnel, and billing to insure the quality of service of suitability of personnel and the cost effectiveness of operations.  Mr. Harrington is a recent retiree of the Federal Government.  He served as Chief of Controller Operations for the Baltimore Region of the U.S. Corp of Engineers for the past fifteen years.  His experience qualifies him to perform various management and financial tasks for U.S. TRANS.

 

Gilford Harvey, MANAGER REFUSE SERVICE

Mr. Harvey has over fifteen years of direct experience in the refuse service industry in the areas of management, operations and quality control. Mr. Harvey has acted as Project Manager with major refuse companies on large government contracts for refuse services.  Mr. Harvey has specialized expertise with roll-off/roll-on and front-end operations.  He has supervised, administered and monitored contracts, which required the hauling of chemicals and hazard materials. The coordinating and obtaining all special permits and licenses were the responsibility of Mr. Harvey. Mr. Harvey has extensive and direct experience on refuse collection contracts for the federal government including reclamation and recycling requirements.  Mr. Harvey is our project manager with our Government contracts division to provided solid waste removal services to numerous Federal and Department of Defense agencies such as the Department of Agriculture, Naval Research Laboratory, Cameron Station and Ft. Meade.

 

Ishtvan Horvath, OPERATIONAL DIRECTOR, RECYCLING SERVICE

Mr. Horvath has over ten years of experience in environmental protection.  He has served in various capacities in foreign countries as advisor on the disposition of various solid waste materials and the process for reuse of consumer materials.  He serves as a hands-on director of U.S. TRANS recycling operation.  He currently operates our recycling center in Washington DC.  He is experienced in all phases of recycling operations.  His experience enables U.S. TRANS to offer full recycling service to business firms, institutions, private residents and governmental agencies.

 

Peter McGhee, DIRECTOR FACILITIES MANAGEMENT

 Mr. McGhee has a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan University 1980 and a Bachelors from the University of Kansas 1978. He has extensive knowledge and experience in the management of organizations, human resources development and communication systems.  In particular, Mr. McGhee has extensive individual experience in printing fulfillment, and transportation logistics. He provides expertise in the above-cited areas. He has first hand experience with air land and sea logistics. He excels in the global transportation logistics. Mr. McGhee oversees vehicle maintenance, ADA transportation planning and the attendant areas of budget formulation and client negotiations.  Mr. McGhee has over 25 years specializing in global logistics, and print solutions nation wide. Mr. McGhee is also responsible for screening applicants for the required expertise, defining the tasks to be performed, and for coordinating work results from the different components within U.S. TRANS, to ensure overall work results meets the client's needs.  Mr. McGhee is also responsible for maintaining quality control and quality assurance so that contracts are performed efficiently and cost-effectively.
